A great variety of Spanish food restaurants, bares and beautiful boutiques nearby. Buses to nature reserve stop just 300 meters away. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast on the terrace.

Who needs a pool anyway?

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms basic, but clean. The shops and restaurants are about a five minute walk. There is a very tiny beach about four minutes away (30 steps down), and the Marina is about five minutes. There is a bigger (though not big) beach about 15 minutes away, maybe less. Free WiFi is available at the hotel. The pool was never crowded when I was there - five people were the most I ever saw sitting on loungers. The hotel itself is very quiet.

I had two meals then, and wouldn't recommend the food unfortunately. You only have a choice of either a pork or fish meal. Both times, the jacket potato (that's all they do) was very very hard, despite telling them the first time. I doubt this would be a problem, as everybody else went up to the restaurants to eat every night because they are so close.

La Ceiba is a perfect price/quality hostal on a perfect location. The owners are lovely people and make you feel like you are part of the family. You are in walking distance of different beaches and the cosy city centre, as well as many shops and supermarkets. We loved Cala D'or and believe it is one of the most beautiful places to stay when you are visiting Mallorca. It does not matter if you are a family with kids, a young or elderly couple or even travelling alone; La Ceiba and Cala D'or are a great place to stay!

The location was amazing with a beautiful beach just a few minutes away. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with a beach umbrella when we needed one. The room and bathroom were immaculate and the shower was excellent. The hotel was in a nice part of Cala d'Or, close to the harbor and restaurants. Superb value.

The room was simple but clean and a good size. The outdoor space was nice and the pool looked clean but I didn't use it. The position of the hostel was good as it was close to the local beach and harbour and close to the restaurants and shops but not in the centre of the resort.

The breakfasts were disappointing. No fruit was offered and a bit of variety would've been nice. There is no air conditioning and if you're on the ground floor like I was, you couldn't keep your shutters open at night so the room was very hot, although you can hire a fan.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Hostal La Ceiba. The big room was clean and had everything we needed, and it was convenient having the landlady living on site. The barman, Pepe, made our evenings wonderful, and we enjoyed mingling with the friendly locals. The location in Cala Llonga was truly a gem. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The room was spacious and impeccably clean, as was the bathroom. The hotel's location was perfect, being extremely close to both the city center and just a 3-minute walk from the beach. Additionally, there was plenty of street parking available nearby.

The rooms at La Ceiba have a simple, functional decor and tiled floors, which I loved. It made the room feel cozy and comfortable, just like home.

Personally, I would have preferred if the rooms had more variety in terms of beds. However, this is just my personal preference and I understand that others might still find the options enjoyable.

The staff at Hostal La Ceiba were super friendly and gave us all the info we needed for a rad time! The rooms were basic but clean, and the beds were comfy. No need for a TV or phone - we were too busy exploring Cala d'Or! The beach was just a short walk away, and there were tons of cool restaurants and bars nearby. Can't wait to come back with more friends!

The only thing missing was Wi-Fi in the rooms - a bummer for us social media addicts. But hey, who needs Wi-Fi when you're having a blast in Mallorca?

I keep coming back to this place because it has everything I need – free Wi-Fi, off-site car park, luggage storage, bar, restaurant, and more. The staff even helped me with my elderly parents. It's perfect for me. Can't wait to come back for my holiday!

I wanted to visit Cala Serena very much and chose Hostal La Ceiba for its convenient location. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful garden facilities and the convenience of having laundry facilities on site. The garden provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The availability of laundry facilities was also a great convenience, allowing me to pack light and easily clean my clothes during my stay. The variety of facilities at Hostal La Ceiba, including the breakfast room, bar, terrace, wireless Internet access, and 24-hour reception.

The only minor inconvenience I encountered during my stay at Hostal La Ceiba was the slight delay in getting hot water for showering. It took a minute or two for the water to become really hot, but this was a minor issue and did not significantly impact my overall experience.

The location was absolutely mind-blowing, just a short walk from a jaw-droppingly beautiful beach. The seafood at Can Trompe restaurant was super delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even providing us with a beach umbrella. The room and bathroom were spacious and squeaky clean. Public transport and supermarkets were conveniently close by. we had a fantastic stay and wished we could have stayed for three weeks in this heaven on earth.

Just love those mosquitos and sweating through the nights without A/C and a fridge! So refreshing!

The location was mind-blowing! Just a short 3-minute walk to the beautiful beach and 6 minutes to the supermarket. The cleanliness of the room was super, with fresh sheets provided daily. The hosts were jaw-droppingly lovely and incredibly helpful, offering tips on getting around without a car and suggesting must-see beaches. The staff were outstanding, always friendly and happy to assist. The hotel itself was immaculate, with a new bathroom and an excellent shower. The area was nice, close to the harbor and some fantastic restaurants. Great value for money! We would definitely recommend visiting the nearby town, Santanyi, especially on market day. The beach and surroundings were also very pleasant, a convenient 5-minute walk away. Despite its basic amenities, the place was really great, clean, tidy, and surprisingly comfortable. The beds were top-notch. Plus, the hotel provided free Wi-Fi in public areas, off-site car parking, luggage storage, a bar/lounge area, a welcome drink. Absolutely no smoking on site.

The swimming pool was a great bonus, perfect for relaxing and cooling off. The bar served fantastic drinks and the Spanish BBQs were a must-try. The owner was incredible, so friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and cleaned daily, ensuring a comfortable and clean stay.

The lack of air conditioning or fans in the rooms, which made the nights a bit warm. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room to keep water cold.
